A NICKEL SLUDGE IS GENERATED AS A RESULT OF THE FACILITIES RECORD MAKING PROCESS. THE NICKEL SLUDGE WAS STORED IN AN UNLINED WASTE LAGGON. THE SLUDGE LAGOON HAS SINCE BEEN EMPTIED AND BACKFILLED, & PROCESS WATERS ARE DIVERTED FOR TREATMENT. .
