Making Drawer Liners

Have old rolls of wallpaper that you can't bring yourself to throw away? Why not save some money and spice up your drawers. Think about it. Wallpaper is water resistant and easy to wipe clean. Why pay money for drawer liners when you can make them yourself out of extra or old wallpaper. This is an easy task that will help the elongate the life of you cabinets and drawers. It will also help you to keep them clean.

Take your drawers and measure the inside. Cut a piece of wallpaper to about that size. Place the paper inside the drawer and use an exacto knife to get the edges and give it a perfect fit. At this point you can take the backing off the wallpaper and apply it to the bottom of the drawer just as you do a wall. I prefer to get some double sided tape and just attach a few pieces to keep it in place. This way I can change the paper as much as I want without much hassle. You may prefer it to stick firmly in place. Once you are finished and glue or tape is in place, wipe clean and admire your art.
